Terms for Trip Faro's travel insurance matching platform.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Trip Faro websites, forms, and communications (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Scope and acceptance

  • These Terms apply to all visitors and customers.
  • If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
  • You represent that you are legally able to enter a binding agreement.

2) Service description

Trip Faro helps travelers find travel insurance by matching them with insurance specialists who may assist with coverage options.

  • Trip Faro is not an insurance carrier.
  • Trip Faro does not issue insurance policies or guarantee quotes, pricing, or partner outcomes.
  • Any insurance products you buy are offered by third-party partners under their own terms.

3) Pricing, fees, and compensation

  • Trip Faro may be paid by insurance partners for referrals, introductions, placements, or related marketing performance.
  • Unless explicitly stated, Trip Faro does not charge travelers a separate Trip Faro service fee for matching support.
  • Paid placements/advertisements are identified where required.
  • When you submit a form, you request to be matched with eligible insurance partners.
  • You authorize Trip Faro to share your submitted information with one or more eligible partners that fit your request criteria.
  • You understand that matched partners may contact you directly by phone, email, and text message, as permitted by law.
  • Consent to contact is not a condition of purchasing any good or service, and you can opt out of marketing communications as described in our Privacy Policy.

5) Third-party partner terms

  • Each partner has its own terms, privacy policy, pricing, cancellation rules, and refund policies.
  • You are responsible for reviewing third-party terms before purchasing any insurance product.
  • Any disputes about purchased products/services must be handled with the applicable partner unless otherwise required by law.

6) Traveler responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Submitting only your own information or information you are authorized to provide
  • Reviewing partner terms before agreeing to third-party products/services
  • Following all applicable laws

7) Disruptions and force majeure

Trip Faro is not liable for delays, outages, carrier interruptions, political events, public health events, partner insolvency, or other events outside Trip Faro control.

8) Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Impersonate others or submit false information
  • Attempt to access systems, data, or accounts without authorization
  • Interfere with site security or service availability

9) Intellectual property

  • Site content, branding, logos, and materials are owned by Trip Faro or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, distribute, or exploit protected content without written permission, except as allowed by law.

10) Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trip Faro disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Trip Faro is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Trip Faro is not responsible for acts, errors, pricing, availability, communications, or performance of third-party partners.
  • Trip Faro total liability is capped at the amount paid directly by you to Trip Faro (if any) for the specific matter giving rise to the claim.

12) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Trip Faro harmless from claims, liabilities, losses, and costs (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of law/third-party rights.

13) Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy: /privacy.

14) Modifications to service or terms

  • Trip Faro may update these Terms from time to time.
  • Updated Terms are effective when posted unless stated otherwise.
  • Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Trip Faro is organized, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
